Disparities in Details

In order to broaden their horizons and increase perceptual knowledge; in order to enhance communication and understanding between enterprises and promote industrial chain cooperation of textile and printing and dyeing enterprises, the Provincial Cotton Association and the Provincial Printing and Dyeing Association jointly organized a visit to Japan. 38 people from 23 enterprises from Hangzhou, Ningbo, Jinhua, Huzhou and other regions conducted a week-long business visit to Japan from August 26 to September 1. During the inspection in Japan, the concept of "details" can be seen everywhere: everything starts from me, meticulously and down-to-earth to do everything and every detail, which left a deep impression on me:

Detail 1: Emphasis on practical results, not on "pomp" and "face"
1. The companies we visited-Japan Toshin Industry Co., Ltd. and Matsuo Printing and Dyeing Co., Ltd. are all inconspicuous in appearance. They are all located in residential areas in Osaka City Lane. From the outside, they are mistaken for residential houses. Every time we get out of the car and walk a long way in, but the products they produce are: the world's leading digital printing machine, fine technology, first-class quality printed cloth.
2. The cars driving on the streets of Japan are mainly small-displacement hatchback ordinary cars. The body is small and exquisite, and the interior space is very compact. It is not comfortable and elegant but very practical.

Details 2: re-implementation, meticulous details
1. Japan Dongshen Industrial Co., Ltd. occupies a small area. Articles (equipment parts) are piled up in the passages and corridors of the factory area, but all articles are placed in a neat and orderly manner according to the area. Even small screw caps and screws are arranged in different categories and in order. The "5S" management slogan on the inner wall of the workshop is clear and eye-catching. Except for the key workshops (with expensive equipment or temperature and humidity requirements) equipped with air conditioning, the rest of the workshops only have electric fans. Although sweat is flowing, there are no "idle people" standing in front of the fans blowing air. What is even more amazing is that the workers in the equipment assembly workshop are assembling printing and dyeing equipment in white work clothes. White work clothes are in sharp contrast with dark equipment!
2. The printing and dyeing workshop of Matsuo Printing and Dyeing Co., Ltd. is on the second floor. The products are of small batch, many varieties and high value. The smallest list is only tens of meters. There are both advanced digital printing machines and original manual overprinting machines in the workshop. For example, handkerchief patterns are made by manual overprinting. The placement of templates must be absolutely consistent during each overprinting, worker masters are doing seemingly easy and difficult technical work day after day, year after year (refinement and consistency requirements are very high). Every time a pattern is printed to change the template to change the dye, the remaining dye will always be poured into a dye tank in different categories and recycled continuously, which not only saves the cost but also ensures the quality of dyeing.
3. Japanese garbage is classified and divided very finely. In addition to the words "recyclable and non-recyclable", each trash can is also equipped with eye-catching auxiliary patterns such as paper cups, plastic products, glass bottles, etc. It is clear at a glance, and it is convenient to throw the garbage in your hands into the relevant trash can.
Detail three: heavy rules, starting from small things
1. Queuing can be seen everywhere in airports, hotels, elevators, bus stops and streets. For example, at the gate of any snack bar on the street, people often see people queuing up to buy things. Later comers always wait in line consciously in order. No one jump in line, let alone the crowding phenomenon.
2. On the road, motor vehicles and pedestrians walk the road, motor vehicles consciously give way to pedestrians, turn cars and drive straight; the parking lot, whether it is a cart, a car, or a bicycle, is arranged in a neat and orderly manner......
3. The Japanese have a very strong awareness of environmental protection. The tour bus must have all passengers (at least 3/4 or more) to turn on the air conditioner. During the week, despite the hot weather, the bus air conditioner of our group was strictly followed by the driver. At first we were not used to it, but later we got used to it.

Detail four: heavy protection, the best technology, products to stay in the country
1. Japan is very strict in technology protection. The first-class and top-notch technologies are kept in the country for their own use, and they are never exported in exchange for temporary benefits. For example, the paint of cars produced in Japan is especially bright, especially shiny and shiny. It is said that the paint used is special for Japan, while the exported cars use other paints.
2. Japanese products for their own use are mainly made in Japan, especially products with high quality requirements and high technical content, which can only be bought in Japan, and many instructions are only in Japanese. Even if you try to buy them and bring them back to your own country, you can't use them normally. Low-end products are mainly imported from abroad (including China and other countries). In Japanese supermarkets, Chinese products can be seen everywhere. China is a "big manufacturing country", but unfortunately, Chinese products are all low-and medium-grade products, all of which are large in quantity and low in price.
3. Trees in Japan are protected and never felled indiscriminately. The raw materials of non-renewable resources such as wood needed for life are imported from China and other countries, such as disposable chopsticks. The raw materials are imported from China and other countries. The chopsticks are recycled after use. Use Japan's unique technology to make waste chopsticks into paper for the second round of recycling.

The above list is only some of the phenomena seen during the visit. Perhaps, it is the attention to such details and everything in place that makes Japan's sky blue, clear mountains, beautiful waters, and green trees. The air is particularly clear. No dust can be seen on the horse track, and even the dust on the car tires of the bus is invisible to the naked eye. Perhaps, it is the attention to such details and everything in place that Japan's national economy has developed rapidly and jumped into the ranks of the world's economically developed countries in just a few decades. Perhaps, today's Japanese textile industry is our tomorrow, which is worth learning from: enterprises strive for management, quality and service, and take the road of high-end product market with high value; Enterprises attract employees with stable high income (the annual salary of an ordinary worker in a printing and dyeing enterprise is 5 million yen, equivalent to more than 300,000 RMB), and enterprises also have high job requirements for employees, every work must be in place according to the regulations, so as to realize a virtuous circle-excellent and exquisite technology to create benefits, scientific and standardized management to win benefits, stable and high-quality workforce to promote benefits!
